ABSTRACT
Cuticle micromorphology of 30 taxa of Umbelliferae in Korea was studied with scanning electron microscopy. The cuticular characters of inner surface, surface textures, the degree of cuticle development on anticlinal walls, the shape of epidermal cells and stomata, and the developmental degree of ledge and polar extension of guard cells, were described in detail. These characters have not been investigated to this taxon previously. Some of them clearly contain diagnostic values, although the grouping using all characters studied here does not well coincide with current classification systems,
