During a revision of the Flora of Korea, one possibly introduced and unrecorded taxon was found at the herbarium of the University of Tokyo (TI). This taxon is Persicaria wallichii Greuter & Burdet, which belongs to the Persicaria sect. Rubrivena. From this study, the new Korean common name `Himalaya Yeokki` is given. The morphological description and the photographs of habit and representative specimen are provided.
